5V5 LEAGUE

We are excited to celebrate our 21st year of 5v5. The 5v5 League will be June 3 - 26, on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5-6pm at BVNW.
​
We will have 3 weeks of round robin play and the final week will be playoffs! All games will be played on full sized goals. Game times, standings, and announcements will be posted on this site. Also follow us on Twitter @5v5League.

Cost: $350 per team prior to May 15th. $380 after May 15th

RULES AND EXPECTATIONS
The goal of this 5v5 League is to have fun, get reps on the ball, and play with your friends and teammates during the summer months. We are trying to simulate a game-like experience for all involved.
Failure to act in an appropriate manner will result in forfeit and termination of the game.

Teams will field 5 field players and 1 goalie. Teams are allowed to play with less, as long as they understand that is their own risk. We suggest having around 10 players on your team for subbing purposes and summer travel.

Games will have two 25 minute halves with a five minute half-time.

There is no slide tackling of any kind and players will call their own fouls.

If the ball goes over the side-line, the other team will set the ball on the line and pass it in. If the ball goes over the end-line, a corner kick or goal kick will follow.

After a goal, both teams will agree on the score prior to kick off.

A member from each team will report the score of the game together to the BVNW Coach at the end of the game.

Teams will select a shirt color for their team, but will ALSO BRING A WHITE SHIRT. We will be assigning Home and Away teams each week. The Home team will wear their dark team color, the away team will wear white.
